Youngsters won't understand the kind of excitment many of the older ones felt when SBST started introducing AC buses on a large scale.

People queued up to take SBS9000S on its first day of operation as the first AC DD.

The MKIIIs were definitely an improvement over the MKIIs simply because there was AIRCON. And unlike the contemporary N113s and 0405s, the MKIII was the first full AC SD fleet type.

This bus, I saw, drivers kept on speeding this bus TO BE EVEN FASTER THAN THE CITAROS. I also dont like the citaros to like (bend abit towards the left). I got 1 time drop my handphone just because of that >.>

I think they all deregister buses that have tiny problems like bell sot sot ~~
Hope that SBST will preserve 1 or 2 MkIII buses. These Mk3 buses are of a first few to be FULL OACs SINGLE DECK when imported.
The only weird thing is : All Mk3 that deregistered ARE REPLACED BY THE CITAROS. Looks like HGDEP are letting svc 325 take all the old buses :) Take 325 if you want old feeling LOLS!

But the serving period of MK3s is already over for some...it's really the final days.

Not only 325. Services like 85, 103, 112, 159, 372 until now still don't have any new buses deployed at all. After MK3s left, what they got is only MK4s and nothing else.

On sunday, I took SBS876(?) on 35. Believe me, I had a VERY sad feeling on the bus. I don't even wanna get off! Old but gold, I look at the bus and thought of the citaros. things will never be the same! No matter how much I hate the MKIIIs, I still treasured them as they are the last generation of buses in my childhood. I will NEVER regret the ride. R.I.P MKIIIs.
