When you are looping, does your bus not go in the opposite direction? So 858 should still display Changi Airport while heading to woodlands? And 857 should display Suntec City while heading towards yishun?

Good thing they changed it back, otherwise it just confuses people who are unsure of the direction of the stop.

LOL, I agree with what you are saying, but heck, I'm not the one incharge of programming in the details for the EDS.

Ang Mo Kio 24
Changi Airport 24
Loop Service 24

that version. Not the version with all the arterial roads it passes by listed.

PUNGGOL
> CHANGI AIRPORT (LOOP) 24

is defintely better than PUNGGOL, CHANGI AIRPORT, LOOP SERVICE which is confusing - there's only one start point now, looping at Changi Airport.

The side EDS still has the roads that the bus passes by, so it's not that bad of an implementation..

Hope that this can be used for all the Loop Services, where now is rather confusing as regardless whichever direction, it only shows that same destination..

To my opinion I don't feel as though this is old format as I first saw it last year.

I remembered the few loop services that are having this format is service 76, etc.

I believe something can be done. There are other SMRT Bus Services that are loop services and their EDS route information are clear.

For example, Service 184 starts from Bt. Panjang and loops at Clementi MRT. The "destination" of "Clementi" and "Bukit Panjang" changes as it loops.

I have noticed that Svc 24 EDS has not changed it is still in the "new" format

I think AMDEP didnt bother converting it, cos most of the 24 buses including citaro perms and kub perms all still in this format

As of today, 90% of 24's fleets have changed to the third version. Only one or two not changed, the BC sotong

This indicates that the service has finished looping and is returning to the destination,displaying the roads and tell that it is a loop service
