anyway i think that 113 needs more buses. Thats my mindset. I dont plan on fighting for 113 to get more buses again but it should get a fleet add earlier. SBST just dont have enough drivers.

Why not? If you have that much time to go and count at TPY Int the people who board 238 at both peak and off-peak hours, you should go and do that and report to us the figures. And your 113 figures too.

Why not you go and count and tell me and persuade me? U think i nvr take 238 before? 238 freq around 5-6 mins still not enough? 113 20 mins 1 bus and even it's full must take the next bus that is coming in 18 minutes you think hougang svc so pampered like svc 238?

Chill bro. Maximum loading for KUB is 88, but I believe that's the official estimate from the manufacturer with the assumption that everyone stands in two rows at the aisles, shoulder-to-shoulder, everyone perfectly average sized & with no bags or other baggage.

But seriously, have you ever seen a KUB with full 88 people? I've never seen one, at most packed only till 60+ (and that's like the MRT Shuttle during the train distruptions). So don't anyhow assume.

And besides, I'm not that free to go and count at TPY Int as you with your 113. My life is not just about buses and complaining. So chill dude, if the fleet add is supposed to come, it will come.

113 got 7 buses for a 16km route at all times (Still need to serve 113A), freq at hougang central can be up to 25mins. 238 got 8-10 buses during peak hours for a 6.3km route. 174 got add cameos right? got dds right?

like you said, 238 is the longest feeder in toa payoh, right? and yes, i have been to NTU and i have boarded 179. I have been around the island. Dont make assumptions that i only think svc 113 is crowded.

179 serves NTU right? like i said, my bro studys in NTU. Jurong is pampered because almost every service has dds including svc 243? Like you guys said, ppl wont move up to the upper deck, right? SBST has removed dds before from svc 291 and recently deployed dds back because ppl wont move up, since ppl wont move up why didnt SBST remove them? Thats why i think that svcs in jurong are pampered.

Somemore Jurong West N6 in particular happens to be the pioneering batches of HDB's new residential construction concept of clustered blocks (4 residential blocks grouped together w/ 1 MSCP). It's clustered demand for buses.
