Probably SMRT should buy some more Citaros to replace the Mercedes-Benz O405 once they go off in 2013.SMRT should also buy some more MANs too.

1.Scrap 900 kubs and leave 200 of them alone.

2.SMRT should give up all their taxis elsewhere seriously.The taxis really r taking up too much space at the depots.They should just concentrate on their buses at their depots instead of overcrowding the depot ridiculously with the taxis. =.=

3.SMRT and sbst to buy a few of the new version of the Citaro.

4.It would be good if sbst bought a few Scania K310UDs instead of so many Wrights.

Bendies are useful for high-capacity routes which ply along streets with height restrictions. Tibs put them on route 67, which was in a way a smart move. DDs require at least 4.5 metres of clearance, which isn't possible some of the time. Routes 16 and 105 need to have a few DDs but cannot get them as they pass under low bridges.

16 can just amend to skip Joo Chiat area.

Is that Toa Payoh Rise upgrading completed???? I think there might be some service link from thomson road to Toa Payoh lor one. there are two not in use bus stop next to the station. pull one service like 59 or 56 or 57 and link from there to bishan.

My wish for 2012 is to see SMRT disbanded and dislisted from stock exchange. Let a new company take over all the bus routes by SMRT. Also SBS just focus on bus service and give up MRT system and let MRT system control and run direct by LTA, profit channel back to the people by shares like Singapore Share and reduction on income tax and GST.

Also want to see more Double Decker bus on 59 and arrive more on time. this moring 7724 830 AM is not arriving on time, instead a SD kub flooded which people arrived at 845 neary miss the service and go to work late by15min. maybe some one should set a topic about bus time arriving on time and monitor which service is f...k up on timing!!!!!
