Hmm, I've always thought that 851 should get this change in route, since it is already a WAB service. Any idea if some of the OCs will be redeployed to 853 to make it a WAB service, just like 858?

Think it is for the benefit to those residents staying in Serangoon.

Add on to services 854 and 857 which should also be diverted to KTPH too since they have perm OC500LEs. But just wondering whether the bendies can turn into the KTPH route or not?

I dun think it's good to divert all e svs into KTPH either. Dun forget abt DBTF impact to other passengers.

Just let those catchment area bus svs to ply there. To me, I'm thinking of Ang Mo Kio, Sembawang, Woodlands.

Bishan onwards maybe ppl is better served and nearer to TTSH or KKH.

851 had served many medical facilities, that why it wasn't amended first.

Very high chance though since 853 got 10 mercz when the mercz came in 1995.

Now fast-forward 15 years plus, they might be gone due to the coming in of the citaro.
