Seems like some SMRT buses speed limiter are being messed around
with, Took TIB762S on 178 today and surprisingly either the speed
limiter is spoilt or being tampered with. Went slightly over 60km/h
and no sound came out.
Not trying to complain, but I really wonder how often does LTA
conduct checks on speed limiter on SMRT Buses.
speed limiter does not have sound.. They just resist any
further acceleration and velocity abv 60kph.
Tat said the KUBs can travel to 70kph on downslope bef being
tuned back to 60 - 65kph
