I stayed in Sengkang Central. My MOTHER stayed
in Fernvale, between Fernvale and Layar LRT. SO tat's y i
complained becoz everyday when she go TPY for mahjong she had to go
to LRT stn and it took her 7 min. Then she had to w8 for assistance
by staff to get her on the LRT, coz she was alone and no one would
push her on. Then she had to transfer NEL, followed by CCL and
lastly NSL.
This whole ordeal would have took her and hour and a half, and
it wasted plenty of manpower too. She can't stand the SMRT staff so
buay song oso.
1 1/2 hr oso apply to NEL to NSL.
Tat's y she wanted 163 to become WAB (and me too) so tat she can
go TPY directly in an SBS bus right in front of her
doorstep.
And pls use yr common sense.
U told me no PIW ever waited for
163 rite?
And now i tell u: izzit resonable for a PIW to wait for a bus
svc that isn't even WAB- certified yet?
I didn't say that. I merely doubted that based on my day-to-day
experiences taking 163, which is not 24 hours of course.

yeah, it is troublesome for PIW to use MRT no matter what they
say, but as I see it, it is nonetheless a price to pay for PIW to
use public transport as much as the able-bodied ones try.
