An accident involving five vehicles took place at the junction
of Victoria Street and Bras Basah Road on Sunday morning.
The accident happened at about 7am, involving a Night Owl
SBS Transit bus, a van, a car and two
taxis.
Police said four people were injured and sent to hospital.
Witnesses said the bus had swerved at the traffic junction to
avoid an oncoming Silvercab but still ended up colliding with the
taxi.
Witnesses said the taxi driver and his passengers were hurt and
sent to hospital.
The bus is then said to have clipped another three vehicles that
were waiting at the junction, before it finally ploughed into a
lamp post outside Carlton Hotel.
