which bus depot will get them first? 6xxx humm recycle number from old bus? Leyland old DD and victory old licence plate? last time this licence under AMK Ju...

I dont mind 1100 KUBs...but my worry is they are going the way of the CDGE B9TLs....are the new buses that hard to maintain? I hope the Citaros dont go the same way.

If this trend keeps up, they might turn into another Trident problem.

977 is crossover from 135? most likely AMDEP will deploy citaros on Sv135 as well to replace the MK4.....

Not so sure about that. Cause 977H was spotted around 4-5plus. Then around 6plus, 1916C joined in, making it 6 buses in the fleet at that time.

SMB66X SG

In time to come, the Citaro A/C would be a problem. However there are more seats in Citaro but not alot of people will like the back facing seats especially the elderly.

Whats the problem?

there are suppose to be 3 buses crossover from Sv135.. but at different timing if i am not wrong. and some buses did more than 1 trip.... it should be the crossover slot..

Whats the problem?

The AC is very bad, I felt it very warm when I boarded SBS6001J on 28 on last Tuesday.

The bell design was not so good because the passenger will accidentily touches the bell without knowing dat make the bc keep complaining about it !

SBS882Y, SBS904T, SBS911Y are out.

SBS 1000U SG

Finally took the bus on 138.

Very fast as the BC speeds most of the time, but the air con needs improvements.

I only felt cold air after the bus went for the return trip towards Ang Mo Kio along Mandai Road. I think SBST should modify the thermostat and cut holes and install air con ducts like the Wrights. The European air con holes don't work in Singapore.

SBS8675B SG

Took SBS6002G and SBS6003D on service 138 yesterday, a good bus indeed running along Mandai Road. Interior was rather smooth and quiet, not so bumpy compare to the Scania K230UBs. Engine wise similar to the Merc OC500LEs.

Also spotted some tourists taking pics of themselves inside the Citaros

Finally. The MK4s were replaced by the Citaros.

sbst275 SG

Can only say, funny.

1) AVMS machine is not flushed proprerly with the bus's original body part casing. It's protruding out.

2) Bell... Esp the WAB one..

3) The config is not suitable for peak hr crash load. Can't carry much standee.

4) WAB area pretty ok.

There again, it's not really fully suitable for our load condition.

sbst275 SG

The AVMS part shows why at times integral body may not be suitable for each area's bus ops.

We've this equipment, integral design may not be able to accommodate it.
