the berth allocations for the services plying the new serangoon interchange are posted up on the signboards inside the interchange already. from what i see, 81 and 82 aren't listed on the directory...

wonder how svcs 81 and 82 will be re-routed? i'm guessing 82 will be amended to terminate at punggol int and loop via upp serangoon rd, serangoon ave 2, boundary road, serangoon central and upp serangoon rd.. no clue on svc 81 though.

Sad. Being a resident next to the current Serangoon Bus Int, I’ve been taking buses to all around Singapore from the interchange. I like the announcements made by the speakers because the make me feel like I am in a Kampong. I can hear them from the top floor of the HDB flats opposite.Parents now forcing me to walk to school instead of taking Sv. 105… Sad

(upp serangoon > ctrl > boundary rd > ave 3 > ave 2 > upp serangoon road)

and 82 is amended to be a punggol int > punggol road shuttle service

affected passengers can take 101 or 107

hm my guess is that 105 will end directly at the new interchange, with the sector along ave 2 (towards lor chuan) and boundary road deleted. affected pax along the deleted sector can board the amended 109 which takes the same route to yio chu kang link (my best guess).

it's sad to see serangoon bus interchange lose two bus services though. and the small interchange doesn't allow for any likely expansion of services in the future.

i was also thinking of that. 315 also can ply serangoon avenue 2 instead. the rest of the services will just turn into serangoon ave 2 from upp serangoon road instead of serangoon central...
who knows maybe SBST will throw a surprise by extending 81 and 82 to other interchanges. THAT i will be surprised :O

Maybe 82 amended to HGN->Punggol Road? Dunno just guessing.. Anyway, notice that there is a new bus stop built along Upp Serangoon Road between Paya Lebar Camp bus stop (62149) and SGN bus stop (62139). No prizes given if you manage to guess which services will use that bus stop.
