service 101’s situation is not bad man..
it’s the distance that is covering now, as it has to go longer to
reach the int, then to hougang st 51, people prefer taking 325 now,
to st 51.
svc 113 sees more people than 101, but svc 113 u guys say is a
feeder, a feeder bus must have many buses, so that people can board
the bus every 5 minutes to the int/mrt, but 113 has a frequency of
12-18 mins, how can it called a feeder?
even 325 has a 8-10 min frequency, covering 12km with 7
buses,
svc 113 has a 12-18 min frequency, covering 16.8 km with 7
buses,
which is worser?
much more,
svc 101 has 8 buses, covering a 14.4km distance.
ppl prefer taking 101 from hg int instead of kovan mrt
btw, you should see 113’s situation when a full load of
aunties/uncles taking the bus and boarding it to loop at st 11 and
alight at their opp stop because got shelter.. same for 101 i
guess.
Feeder buses fair should be frequent, but there's a minimum
level before more buses should be added.
Say like Sv 269, 8 - 9 mins per bus should be e max.
