nothing unusual..
every youngster is brought up in a modern, clean and advanced
society, called Singapore. everyone has been brought up to demand
new things, as old means useless or otherwise.
so many old things, being an "eyesore", had been removed, to be
replaced by spanking new things, be it vehicles, buildings,
equipment etc
and in such a materialistic society where everyone expects a high
quality of life, and commuters paying higher and higher fares, of
course people will demand new buses for their area. and too bad
hougang is a relatively young estate..
of course.. since new bus
and old bus also same fares.. which will a consumer
choose?
nothing irrational, only realism
