is the flyover the woodsville interchange which is undergoing upgrading works since 2007?flyover + underpass works. yep.

i dont rule out that possibility. the 4 pairs of bus stops has quite a good catchment. If skip all it will affect the revenue for 966. unless they put a bus lane that goes straight thru... and if use whampoa east, hope skip all the bus stops along there...

But minus point might be heavy traffic/traffic jam during evening peak hours. If the situation is bad, it might take 4-5 traffic light rounds before the bus can continue along Serangoon Road.

I guess the earliest bus svs to do it was 146, 154 back in 1982.

tomorrow no straight configuration....

anyway, i pass by bendermeer and serangoon today. no sv966 along bendermeer road first bus stop after jln kolam ayer..... but at the serangoon rd "bee chin hiang" bus stop, the sv8/90/151/154 plate on bus stop was removed, but SV966 one remain on the bus stop pole..... so high chance it will go one big round....

Press release stating that it will go one big round seen on a CAC today (3/9) while it was on Sv961. Quite a last min slipshod announcement IMO, though no bus stops will be missed. I suppose Sv966 will be calling at St Michael's Pl stop as well just like Sv26/61/107/853.
