Update 17/06/11

Woodlands Centre Rd (WTCP) upgraded riao. 3x set of bus sv panel has been put up.

Stickers placed on sheltered walkway from WTCP to the bus stop indicating the bus svs to nearest MRT Stn.

Order goes like tis

1) To Marsiling: 950

2) To Kranji: 170 (Towards Queen St)

3) To Woodlands: 178, 911, 913

4) To Woodlands: 903, 912, 950

Seriously, they should build a bus interchange for Marine Parade Central. And they should sprunce up Bukit Timah Central to be the next transport hub, even without the MRT. Maybe a shopping mall and more offices and upgrade the HDB flats around the area. Another few recommended areas, Whampoa/Balester, Joo Kun/Pionner/Nanyang, Tampines South, Buona Vista.

Bukit Panjang interchange is nearby and is already good enough. Moreover not mant bus service bypass the area already.

well, you may not have realised why Blk 270 bus stop is packed during AM peak. There's some transport travelling pattern profiling

If it is packed with people, then I think it should be really be upgraded. If it is packed with bendy buses, then SMRT should consider using double deckers in future, and not upgraded for the sake of more queues of bendy buses. Not only it disrupts traffic and messy but also residents near the bus stop may not like a bigger and longer one which can be noiser as well.

You will be surprised to know there can be up to 80 - 100 people waiting at the bus stop during peak hour at any one time.

Even the Bukit Panjang MP stood at the bus stop to shake hands during elections period in the Morning Peak Hour.

Bukit Batok West, Choa Chu Kang residents do wait at these bus stops to transfer to Yishun, Orchard, Marina Centre, Bugis.

Already been upgraded. Its the length of 3 bus stops.

It's the last bus stop before buses head to CBD or other new towns.

It's connected to Pending or Bangkit station.

It's near to any bus stop tat 920 & 922 uses.

Well, that was taken on a sunday at 4pm. There's already 6 sd waiting infront of my 185, and i've no idea what's at the back. This could very much be worse during evening peak w/ additional trips of 154.

The very least they could do is to remove the railings before the bus stop, its really redundant. Only 2 buses able to stop at once currently.

the car park entrance is there, taxi stand is there & there's proper walkway at HDB flat void deck
