SBST really short of SD meh....looking at the way the DDs are haphazardly deployed.Cannot be what.....74 needs these DDs more as I had said earlier.Did the B...

sinicker SG

there are many 163M recently.

27 frequency high so is ok.
though still gt bunching prob sumtimes

27 frequency high + frequent bunching is always welcomed.

SBS 1000U SG

163 don't need to extend to YCK MRT, too many duplications.. There is always 86 to take and 86 needs more double deckers. :D

SGCar SG

105 should also have DDs but because of the flyover at Lor Chuan…
(P.S : Hope got Citaros)

105 used to have DD last time, but just bcos of that flyover...

Cheers.

If the junction of Lorong Chuan and Braddell Road can be improved, then 73, 105 and 159 might be able to use double deckers again.

Saw 4 of them at the stop bef TPE a few days ago. The high frequency is because of the additional buses that starts service in the Tampines area. You can see KUBs parked at the Tampines Ave 6 route waiting for service during peak hours. I think that DDs could be deployed for these buses as they do not need go to the airport, so height restrictions is not a problem. Also, additional buses are needed during 8 to 9 pm.

The junction was recently upgraded but the problem still remains so still cannot use dd.

SBS8675B SG

The problem lies with the height limit of the CTE Braddell flyover.

SBS 1000U SG

The junction was recently upgraded but the problem still remains so still cannot use dd.

I think Lorong Chuan should be integrated with the junction of CTE and Braddell Road so that it will meet Braddell Road before the CTE flyover. That will leavce ample space on top for double deckers to cross.

SGCar SG

One VO3X Batch 2 on 163 today, rego unknown.

Cheers.

SGCar SG

The only way that 105 can get DD is reroute it to run on CTE, exit AMK Ave 1, then turn back into Lor Chuan and continue it's route in S'goon Ave 2/3. Doubt they can do anything to that road for now.

Cheers.

105090 SG

saw a VO3x on 163 yesterday.

the junction of lorong chuan, Braddell Road and CTE has been chaotic, congested and messy ever since i was born 20+ years ago. construction has been going on non-stop for at least 15 years

today, the problem has yet to be solved.. often, a simple tweaking of traffic light timings does the tricks but $2m salary brains usually overlooks such simple suggestions...

It should be 9669M.
