SBST really short of SD meh....looking at the way the DDs are haphazardly deployed.

Cannot be what.....74 needs these DDs more as I had said earlier.

Did the Buona Vista folks do anything that offended SBST or did the Sengkang-ers do the 125 for SBST?

not really jammed, it's how far you manage the schedule w/ it.

Cos those are regulars for jammed roads

Last time there were also NAC VO2x running on 74 from BBDEP side. All the NAC DDs were replaced by MK3s.

Maybe sbs should make the salary and working time more attractive for singaporean to drive bus. if not sbs give us one reason why the bus fair increase? why buy so many new buses from euro? sbs should get china bus or design and bulid it own model of bus to cut cost.

problem is this

You employ foreign drivers, gotta pay for their levy which is getting expensive.

Then locals, give higher pay, but what I suspect is when it comes to shift work basis...

but like I've said, higher pay, but shift work becomes an hindrance.

Please no China bus. Their reliability and durability is questionable.

I rather have a bus from Europe that is reliable and safe and have past records of operational reliability and safety, rather than a MIC bus that explodes using CNG or crushed and battered body after an accident.

Anyway, SBST have worked with the European bus makers for so long.

singaporeans already dun want so many FT to come here mah... how to let local do normal shift? where got normal shift? either AM shift (4am to maybe 2 pm), PM shift (2 pm to midnight?) and Split Shift (morning peak and PM peak) mainly.. very little extended shift (which so call normal shift?)... who will want to wake up 3 am everyday to go drive buses?

where got DD shortages? There are so many SP DDs right now.... no place to deploy them....

That is problem wake up 3am to drive bus. SBS should add in 9am to 9pm shift for local driver and 9pm to 1am for FT and 4 am to 9 am for FT. of crouse local can take up this timing if given over time pay

All thanks to those services that downgrade from DD to SD.

because of high cost of operating DD bus. SD bus is much lower cost to operate. Maybe introduce CItaro buses for long trip and DD bus for short trip example 28 use SD from Toa Payoh to Tampines and 28 A from bedok to Tampines during peck hour use DD. 31 and 31A is a good example.

9pm to 1am or 2 am shift

between 9am to 9 pm shift.

and sunday off for local driver and sat half day for local driver. let FT take over to drive in the weekends and holiday. if local want to drive in weekend or holiday they can ask for OT pay
