Bus svcs with long waiting time& irregular headway adherence

JIS peak hours is superb,But off peak can be erratic.My mum ever waited 30 mins for 252 to come during weekdays

SBST: 22, 57, 63, 64, 66, 76, 83, 98, 99, 105, 124, 143 (Improving), 145, 147, 153, 160, 170 (Woodlands Rd jam towards CIQ), 198 (erratic).

SMRT: 61, 67, 75, 106, 176, 177, 178 (Woodlands Rd jam), 180 (brunching king), 700, 852 (PM peak), 960, 961 (40 mins wait), 966 (20 mins cannot remember e time belt), 985.

Woodlands Rd jam has nothing to do w/ lorries these days.

ICA or LTA no longer restricts cars from Woodlands Rd into CIQ

40, 42, 58 have pretty low off peak demand. Their close to 20 mins off peak freq is justified.

JIS of course off peak freq is not tat frequent la.

178'S Schedule seems to be working fine, the last time I took 780P it was on schedule.

Seems like this schedule really worked though, though I haven't been taking 178 frequently due to some other stuff.

Every day I take 58 and I wait at least 25 minutes per bus. This is really atrocious. And all the buses are either LO3X or O405s. But that means they might get replaced by B9TLs or the upcoming Citaros.

svc 58 will experience heavy traffic along eunos link & upp paya lebar rd..

if you take it during peak hrs, buses may experience heavy loading due to working pple making use of that svc..

once I boarded it at ubi ave 3 (twds PRI), it was experiencing heavy loading too..

I've not seen long headways on 195 whenever I take it. It's abt 12 - 13 mins during off peak.

But I'm not too sure abt peak hours.

for svc 45, the layover time for BC is one of the longest..
so expect to wait longer if there's a breakdown (e.g. front & back bus)..

Take 176 after 6:15 p.m, and you can easily see 2-4 sv176 buses bunching. Take last monday for instance, 4 sv176 buses arrived at the same time. I flagged down the last one. Nobody on it.

but you can't blame the BCs coz its a loop svc which means no terminating point..

All the 4X svs, 40, 42, 43, 45, 48 all the least off peak freq aren't very good.

But I believe it can be maintained below 17 or 18 mins

but thing is, I think I've done up Sv 40's... Can still maintain at within 18 or 22 mins (cannot remember exact headways I planned out).

on my part I do not wish commuters to wait too long for a bus either.
