According to the news, SMRT signed a Memorandum of Understanding
with BYD Company Limited on Thursday to discuss the possibility of
developing, distributing and selling electric vehicles.
BYD is a Chinese automobile manufacturer based in Shenzhen. The
company also manufactures rechargeable batteries.
