well if you insist the route should not be split up. extension from jurong west st 91 to soon lee would be ideal. simply because as a long loop svc, it is very likely to cause erratic headway. sv63 and 64 are other fine examples.

63 is simply because of transition & 63A. There's 21 mins headways slot.

64 is Jln Besar & Selegie Rd tat siao traffic light timing. For one time Plaza Sing car park queue as well.

many students are complaining abt it....but from what i saw at marine parade, it looks quite ok. The bus was rather crowded till marine terrace. Think SBST didnt advertise it enuf tough....some ppl were looking confused when 76 turned into marine cresent

Iris still show route 76 for the previous bus stops that the old 76 used to ply but without any timings...

Think it only affects the VJC students. So now all these are advertised by the bus companies or just LTA?

They've so many buses to Paya Lebar MRT or w/ their age walk to Marine Terr and take 76 lor.

Seriously by the time they walk to their bus stop, e dist is close to them walking to CHIJ Katong bus stop le.

Rationalise 112, 113 & 325 altogether.

112: Hougang Ctrl, Ave 10, Ave 6, Ave 8, St 51, Ave 4, Buangkok Green, Hougang St 93, St 91, Ave 9, Ave 4, Ave 10, Ave 2, Upp S'goon Rd, Hougang St 21, Ave 1, Lor Ah Soo, Hougang St 11, Upp Paya Lebar Rd (Loop)

113: Hougang Ctrl, Upp S'goon Rd, Hougang Ave 7, Tampines Rd, Hougang St 21, Upp S'goon Rd, Hougang Ave 2, Ave 8, Ave 4, Buangkok Medical Park (Loop)

325: Hougang Ctrl, Upp S'goon Rd, Hougang Ave 2, Ave 10, Ave 4, Buangkok Medical Park.

**Ave 2 (Blks 713 - 720) would need feeder sv from Hougang.

Some parts of Ave 8 would cease to have quick, direct bus services to Kovan. St 92 bus stops seem to be redundant today.

I didn't notice that, maybe someone can check it out. I don't even know who made that 315 banner in the other thread. Is the banner done by SBST or by LTA on behalf of SBST?

But I find the distance fare ad at the bus stop pole hard to read and basically small on A5 sized board.

the issue w sv99 is mainly at jurong west ave 1, boon lay pl and jurong west st 91.

sv99 should be split to form two routes. issue is lack of capacity at int, LTA doesnt see the need to increase such infrastructure.

sv99 Jurong East to Boon Lay

Follow sv99 routing to Boon Lay Pl from there following 240 to Boon Lay Int

sv102 Soon Lee Bus Park to Jurong West St 52 (Loop)

now with DBTF it is getting passengers to make transfers. affected passengers will be those on the clementi to jurong east sector but i'm afraid these have to be affected as the loading is not comparative to the other sectors and a likely solution would probably be amending another route to ply this sector.

I think they can extend 181 to serve Jurong West St 91 and 92 areas before going to its original route to St 23 onwards and extend to Jurong East interchange.

now dun have big cardboard hung with cable tie.. those small size cardboard screwed at bus stop pole or just put in the bus stop pole glass panel... i saw the sv76 notice inside the glass panels at some AMK Ave 4 bus stops. not visible at all. last time when they have the bigger size poster, it is easier to see.. and those bus stops along Ave 4 on the return journey (to yck) DOES not have the sv76 notice at all..

also, the positioning of the bus stop is also weird... at AMK Ave 4 blk 612 bus stop, the pole is on the grass patch (1m from the pavement)... who will go walk on the grass to read the notice on the pole?

btw, they also did not reprogram the Sv76 EDS after the amendment. Previously, they have YCK to Siglap Road (loop). now they just use back the old EDS which show YCK as the destination for both directions.

if Sv 76 is same case as st mike services then it is compulsory for them to reprogram it.

i called LTA and told them about this, they got SBST to call me immediately the next day.
When i told corp comm about it, they say they will tell LTA...
Apparently, LTA's new bus pole is only for esthetic purposes and does not serve the general public...
The poster is so small and the words are even smaller, how does it benefit the elderly and the commuting public.
Furthermore, the posters are placed above the info panel, NOT USER FRIENDLY to anyone.
The person who designed and approved this probably DOES NOT TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORT and SPARE ANY THOUGHTS for the commuting public
