New buses
'Two steps forward but three steps backwards.'
MR MICHAEL LIM: 'The new Euro V buses bought by SMRT are
two steps forward but three steps backwards. The loud noises and
vibrations from the engines assail passengers. Pity the drivers who
have to endure them daily for hours. Older buses had far greater
levels of comfort, smoothness and silence that made them a joy to
ride on.'
If they vibrate badly, then KUB how?
Out of 500 over OC rides since the start of the year I've only
encountered 2 unsatisfactory rides so far. They have not
disappointed me at all in terms of air-con (Boo to those who insist
that the air-conditioning sucks), comfort, and silence.
