-->There have been occasions when trains stop at stations for several minutes or so, wasting commuters' time. Why is this so? Are train drivers waiting so that cabins will be filled up, making for a more crowded ride?

-->The air-conditioning system and engine in new/upgraded SMRT buses is very noisy. Can something be done to make them quieter so that commuters can enjoy a more comfortable ride? (hmm... want fan speed to run at maximum and temp set 16-20 but want the aircon to be quieter?)

Reminds me of the time when I took TIB 719 T on 975, at one bus stop, the BC forgot to close the exit door after stopping at that bus stop and just travel forward with the exit door open lol :P When reach the next bus stop, then he close the exit door when the passengers in the bus want to alight lol :P

Not enough eating ice-cream at home.Singapore a lot of FT and PRs,Hence you will see those nonsense attitude like pushing when boarding the bus etc.I've seen Chinamans smoking on the upper deck of S252 NAC DDs,Farting inside MRT and aircon buses not to mention spitting.

i tink the overall fault lies in e SMRT mgt for not installing the system that prevents the bus from moving if the door opens, which is what SBST buses have at the moment.

Motorists to give way to buses at 15 more bays

SINGAPORE: Motorists will have to give way to buses at 15 more bays from Friday. This is under the revision of the Mandatory Give Way to Buses Scheme by the Land Transport Authority.

Motorists have to give way to buses when they see the triangular markings.

And soon, 15 bus bays along Pasir Ris Drive 1, Canberra Road and Woodlands Avenue will go under the scheme, bringing the total number to 41 bus bays island wide.

The LTA said the scheme has been effective in improving overall bus speeds. Buses are now able to exit the bays faster by up to 73 per cent. - CNA/vm

Um, it's the rear emergency door. MUP buses do have a warning system as standard.

There is iris NextBus by SBST -> that STOMPer shld make use of the service. Putting a real-time display on non-urban bus stops would be costly (installation & Maintenance).
