STOMPer.
NAC buses is a reminder of the past. It refers to the VO2x, which
is the very last NAC buses in its fleet. It also reminds me of
those VO2x that used to do services 7, 14, 61, 70, 99, 106, 107,
111, 153, 154, 165, 166, 186, 190, 196, 198, 285, 291, 302, 307,
359 & 365.
Yes, sometimes i did enjoy a breezing ride on those NAC buses like
for example 182/182M, 192, 193 & some JIS services like 252,
254 & 255. Nothing spoils the entire ride (except when it
rains). That STOMPer is inflexible and wanting the company to be
full aircon fleet, like what SMRT (TIBS) had done in the past,
although SBS had stated to aim to have full aircon fleet for the
next 20 years in June 1989, with the introduction of 50 OAC
Scanias.
STOMPer should have write something meaningful on the last NAC
buses in SBST. Heheh
