Bus Information WebApp

SBS1869ERyan SG

Hello! I spent today coding the Bus Query System...

What it does is that it tries to find the bus registration number you specify in its database. If it can't find that data, it will (optionally) try to guess.

Please try this app out at http://sgbusinfo.tk and give me some feedback!

Thanks!

The data in the app was grabbed from SgWiki :)

UPDATE: it seems that someone took my domain away! updated to new domain!

Looks great!

Does the program save older versions of the information when editing? Anyone can just go in and erase or vandalise the data, which would be hard to restore if there is no backup.

it doesn't... yet.

i *think* could implement that! a few more lines of code haha! just have to see if my PHP is good enough!

I do have some JavaScript code that can help "guess" the prefix at http://joeyfoo.zxq.net/wordpress/buses-in-singapore/bus-registration-suffix-finder/, you could try to change it to work in PHP.

Yep - will take a look soon. It seems that ZXQ (hosting provider which you and I use) is having problems for me... I cannot upload via FTP. Very frustrating.

If you want my code to 'guess' bus model, bodywork, engine etc, I'd be pleased to give it to you! :P it does SBS, TIB and SMB.
