One more question to ask... Am I sold already?

Veyron16.4 SG

Where did they mention anything about the depot tour?

Junyang700 SG

Its a "private" open house.

You need to be "Friends of SMRT" before you gain admission for the tour.

I happen not to have. =X

You'll have to go down to the SMRT headquarters to request for the form, fill it up, and mail it back to them. Then, in a few days- a few weeks time they would send you your FOSMRT membership card

Hi XXX,

Thanks for joining us in the FOS visit to XXX.

For your request to XXX, we will organize this under FOS and would like to check if there’s any issue if we postpone it to XXX 2011 as we have a line up of corporate events this year. In addition, FOS is currently organising a visit to Woodlands Bus Depot on 26 Nov and the invite will be sent by next week. We understand that it is better to organize the visit during school holiday. Thus, we can look at the one week holiday in XXX.

By the way, as you might be aware, we only organize visits for FOS members and would like to check if all your friends are FOS members. Otherwise, we can send them the application forms and get them registered before the visit so that we can bring them to the visit too.

Please let us have your comments to the above underlined and we can plan this forward. Alternatively, please feel free to give me a call at XXXXXXXXX

Thanks.

Q1 has already been answered - LTA doesn't ban bendies, it depends solely on the operators whether to purchase them.

Information from LTA during the FOLTA Dinner.
