strange, i saw a 3840Z ticket from the validator of 3903B. the new 3903B has an identical aircon with the same algae patches compared with a photo i saw of 3840Z before it de-registered.

anw its not a surprise slbp would carry out such illegal procedures.

another case was 372C's body swapped to register as 303C which was extended for 2 years. it is known that 303C had an accident before the swap occured.
i saw a bell cover of 372C on 303C before. last time 303C from sutrak a/c suddenly change to fuji which could be found on 372C. furthermore a photo of 372C against the converted 303C is identical with patches of dirty paintwork to the aircon plant could be observed to be identical. that is so weird. . but they very clever they changed the VIN from 372's VIN to 303's VIN but if you look closely you could see it has been tampered only recently meaning someone changed it.

Eh you'll be surprised... this is not the first time they transfer an entire body to another registered bus (though in the first case the other bus is already de-registered and scrapped).

This issue first came to light again when 3903B first did 174e one particular evening after going MIA for some time and many of us used former photos of it and another bus to compare. Conclusion is that they indeed swapped bodies.

Of course we cannot concretely prove it (like the chassis number) but the little clues on board the bus tells much of a story. :)

well...i tot u would know this better than us... from the last 3840Z ticket i got from 3903B, it's less than a week since 3840Z went missing.. I noticed this like two weeks ago, but I'm waiting for someone to make the same discovery too and finally....

I wonder if they really replaced the strips. I wonder if SLBP will repaint a dying Merc when it has no ad... and the rims... so identical...

Wait a minute , it is 3840Z ,,,, cause of the bus stopping bell when i took it on 241 yesterday , the super long chime ... this is the giveaway too ..

3903B didnt have that , it had the new stopping chime as on k230s ...

haha....

look carefully inside , you see the interior plate of 3903B above the dashboard there , also got some grey paints near the bus stopping there , fresh paint...... abit to coverup something .. hmmm... the 3840Z interior plate was huge.. 3903B one is small

i remember 3840Z got repainted before it was laid up , after removing the ad too

no doubt that i just found 3840Z as 3903B haha.

So what happened to the real 3903B ? accident ?

can look at the barcode at the rear ba.. maybe u can find something..

it may not be accident but could be engine faults or any mechanical parts like chassis damaged which disrupts the movement of the bus, but spare parts is alrdy out of production.

Observations on current 307 perm fleet:

SMB39A:
- Careless BC; after getting its rear fixed, its rear gets broken again (this time its minor)
- Modified A/C since A/C was previously weak.
SMB40U:
- A/C Duct @ PIW area loose; spotted twice at different dates, giving no supply of A/C at the rear
- As mentioned by jerryonhere @ Accident/Breakdown thread, rear doors could not be closed after trying to close them manually
SMB41S:
- Once had notorious A/C noise, one could simply identify the rego without looking just by hearing the screeching sound of A/C, now modified.
SMB42P:
- Engine noise different than usual; it sounds like SMB41S'-previously-loud-A/C.
- A/C duct @ PIW area loose similar to SMB40U. Spotted it like 8 times in different dates.
- Dirtiest back cover of all OC 307 perm fleet.
SMB43L:
- Modified A/C since A/C was previously weak.
SMB60L:
- Weird high-pitched noise coming from the bus, dunno where it came from.
SMB61J:
- No comments; but perm BC always like to rev his bus during morning/evening peak hours.
SMB88H:
- Refurbished after doing RWS88.

Exactly.But i am not surprised at SLBP doin someting lik tis agn as they alr hav done someting similar to 303C using 372C's body.Tis seems quite cool to me nvrtheless.Haha.. :)

the A/C is different. from a CoolAir to a Webasto..

They are both Webastos, just different casing/model, if you do look from the top, they will have small Webasto wordings on their fan outlet. The only models in SBST fleet to have Coolairs are the Mk 2s, Scanias and the B10BLE CNGs.

pls report which bus to help SLBP to repair it. Tell me also can, I will tell my friend about it. Dun put a nasty complain here when u dunno how tough their job are. I had just complained why are the B10TL are so smelly and full of urine smell..
