Bus lane at JB Sentral public bus hub

Short translation: As the bus lane inside JB Sentral can't allow buses to park for long, many bus drivers decided to park along Jln Tun Abdul Razak instead.

It ends up the entire road is jammed packed, it can take 30 mins to clear entire Jln Tun Abdul Razak...

Reason being to fill up the buses. Parking duration is abt 15 mins. Imagine e snowball effect as more and more buses arrive.

Handal Indah (one who mooted idea of bus lane in JB) and Iskandar should take a look at bus lanes in Singapore, Hong Kong.

The bue lane is meant for continuous flow of bus movement. Tat means bus schedule would never allow buses to start clogging at the bus stops for 15 mins.

Now they made sure all JB public buses alight pax at the JB Sentral n not along main road.

But for ALIGHTING ONLY, boarding to be done at bus stop further away.

Malaysia boleh! If one notice e pictures in Sinchew, u would know it's not even designed to be a bus stop.

Dun understand why operators quoted in e article kpkb. Actually all those waiting aren't efficient, can end up saving 1 bus per route.

Crux: Cos diesel subsidised ma, no nid to be efficient.
