of course the temp BNL int is the best in terms of
space, followed by the old permanent BNL int. The new
air-con int is just too small. The balance of having adequate space
for an Int vs economic considerations (eg opportunity cost over
rentable space and land cost, etc) simply went overboard. The
authorities should have worked with the bus operators before
construction of the int to ensure there’s enough space.
An alternative solution to expand the current aircon
BNL int is when the former Temp Int is demolished to
make way for commercial property, construct part 2 of the
BNL Int there. Although the 2 BNL int are
separated, at least its still within walking distance of each
other.
Back in 2006:
1) Didn't for-see QoS to surface.
2) Didn't for-see Tuas would expand.
3) Didn't for-see NTU intake would increase.
Wat's w/ the gabrament these days. Everything think of short
