Talk about a heavy-handed approach.
Instead of emblazoning 'GIVE WAY' in capital letters on the
buses and threatening to fine motorists who don't, how about
putting 'Kindly Give Way' and putting out a press release t
politely ask motorists to do so?
Hell, just go out a little bit earlier and bypass roads with
known heavy congestion lah! After all, this is Singapore.... the
most anyone has to travel is 42 clicks!
All this move has done is to tell the whole world that we have
heavy traffic congestion and inconsiderate suicidal drivers who
deserve to die horribly in flames.
Though I don't totally disagree about the inconsiderate drivers,
though.
i agree with you totally. A "plea with the motorists" would have
been more proper and considerate than a threat
