out of the balance 20 SP EEV in AMDEP, i think they will go to Sv70 and Sv 261/262/269.. high time Sv70 kenna EEVs... I agree

138 - most likely will not get KUB.

and for the new Wright B9, very high chance, that SBST will deploy them on Sv 2/7/12/21/51/72/76/80/143/147/196/198, while kicking out those old B9 to 166/23/168/197/65/9/28 etc etc etc...

Or maybe 161/168 will get a few of the Wrights B9, since theres a practice last time.

When VSOs were new, last 8 buses were perm 161/168 before being redeployed.
Same for the B9TLs that perm 161.

i think the OC's base also got scracth the hump? think SMRT dun care so much... look at the OCs.. so many with damaged/cracked bumper and did not even bother to repair it.

Not just 138, there will be a day that all the current non WAB single deckers in the SBST fleet to be replaced by WAB single deckers one day, be it the Volvo B7RLE, B9L, Mercedes Benz Citaro, Scania K230UB or MAN HOCL 18.240, etc, services going to Johore like 160 and 170 will still have to face this problem one day. Let's just hope most of the roads will be widen or smoothen to allow low floor buses to move with ease. And how about the hilly roads in NUS too???

Yesterday Shin Min reported a very stubborn group of Chinese that held up a Sv138 bus for 6 hours because they refused to alight from the Merc after being told that it cannot carry the 90 year old woman in wheelchair.

Not saying SBST is wrong (Of course I totally condone the actions of that group of Chinese for which I'm so disgusted at their pathetic actions) but maybe they can consider deploying KUBs on 138...

I think 171 goes to another route, btw they are just going to the cemetry not the ither estate. Maybe they can consider modify 171
