The Malaysian UMW Dennis Lances when newly bought by Tibs in
1998-1999 did not really had a good start. Within the 1st 2 years
there were cases whereby engine caught fire and came to a premature
end. I remembered TIB936H which caught fire along Upp Thomson Rd
while on service 169 in June 2000, after which the bus was gone
case. Others were like TIB931X and TIB941S.
TIB1004R was also one of the UK Lances which came to a premature
end too, I remembered it was a service 980 perm.
