The main reason is only the fares, where this mentality of
transfers and transfer benefits the most to students who buy
monthly concession, which is worth the money for any people below
tertiary (Unless your house and school far far one like stay in
Bedok / Marine Parade and study in RP or NP or maybe SP, then
exception). The $98 only applicable on SBST bus, so may not benefit
all adults. NS's concession hard to say, becoz I yet to been
through it.
1. not every student here buy a concession pass just to
bus-hop
2. omnibus operators will not incur a loss anyway, under the
current or the new fare regime
3. we can easily implement a monthly all-you-can-eat pass like
the EZ-Link SeasonPass.
