today

not a bus accident or breakdown, a tree fell down along Alexandra Rd near Mercedes Benz showroom which blocked off 1 lane, but not only this, near the fallen tree theres a bus stop pole with SBST and SMRT plates near there both overbent. This was found by me 5pm+.

SBS2888T broke down along Orchard Road at Meridien Shopping Centre (Before Dhoby Ghaut MRT the bus stop). It was being towed at 11.40AM.

Dunno. Only BC was left there waving the vehicles away. Caused minor traffic jams along Lor 2 and the turning lanes of Lor 1/6.

is it SBS9315J (BN 30)? Cos it got an accident with one pickup just after the exit at BNL. (at abt 5.20pm)

no. This one broke down as i was watching it. Stopped for a red light & can't move when the light turned green.

And the time of incident & rego is totally different.

maybe gearbox problem that causes door problem..

gearbox problems usually don't lead to door problems. Its probably a faulty sensor or a faulty air reservoir.

cos i seen recovery trunk only come after 2-3 hrs.

SBS8307P spotted tow out of Bukit Merah Int by SBST Truck Recovery at 1730 hrs exactly. Driver wearing orange suit navigate the bus & 1 BC stand beside him

Btw, EDS shows "Off Service" =)

SBS940M broke down along upper thomson rd (just after Thomson plaza) at around 10.00pm on friday 20 Feb.
TIB923 broke down at bus stop along AMK Ave 3 (outside blk 700A) on sunday at around 3.00pm. Tow truck was preparing to tow the bus back to depot.

Tibs794A (Svc 177) broke down at MINDEF Complex bus-stop at 8.00am. Guess is some gearshift problems as i could hear the extremely loud 'whines' while the bus climbed up the slope. The bus had no power or torque to climb up the slope and the bus driver keep stepping on the accelerator. Yet the bus was somehow stuck in the middle of the slope and had a rollback. After many tries, the bus managed to reach the bus stop and declared breakdown then.

TIB 992 U brokedown at Yew Tee MRT. Suspected engine overheat. Maintainance lorry behind the bus. EDS shows "OFF SVC".
