An accident happened, around 11.30pm, involving a taxi, a car
and SBS2722M on 162M (2nd last bus) at bishan road/st22 traffic
junction. The car crash with the taxi while turning right from
bishan road to bishan st 22. SBS2722M was behind the taxi, thus
blocking both the lane at bishan st 22 in the direction towards
marina centre.
3 410w (in order, SBS3781K, SBS8538P & SBS8483M) & the
last bus of 162M (adless DM3500) were affected. the 3 410w were
stucked at the bishan road traffic junction, while the last bus of
162M was stucked while trying to right turn to st 22.
SBS8538P & SBS8483M on 410w were diverted to ply bishan road
> bishan st 21 > marymount road > sin ming ave and resume
their journey. SBS3781K and SBS2722M waited for the traffic to
clear and resume their journey. no idea on how the last bus of 162M
was diverted.
Traffic resumed at 12.15am.
