One thing i hope to see is that Yutong install a riser to their demo. One thing that got my attention from the OC500LEs is that the back bumper would 80 percent hit a high hump. One example is at the Zoo Bus Stop. OCs had left scratches on the hump itself.

i think the scratches are more towards wear and tear from tires =\

This shows that the OCs are definitely VERY strong.but i seriously wonder if the Yutong will be as strong as the OCs.

Confirm wont be strong.we have had enough experiences with many MIC products already.

Lets all make a guess. I guess it will come to SG early March, in service mid-late March.

Doubt is SMRT. Don't forget SMRT's fleet is only about 800+. Buying 500 is more than half the original fleet. Unless they are planning of introducing many more routes, I don't see the reason why they need 500 more buses. In addition, not all the OCs have arrived. Only big transport firm left is SBS Transit. SBS Transit already bought 900 KUBs, of which around 400+(?) are Euro 5. They can't be buying another 500 Scanias after all the complains by commuters and BCs alike. So, the only possibility is ST used the wrong word.
