LTA build longer bus bays sure got reasons.One is the loads another for bendy and more buses can park.Agree that bendy use a bit of space more than DD but think again SG roads is already congested and got full day bus lane so what’s the big issue here?SMRT buses is likely to move off faster than SBST at bus stops due to the duty timings.I see more DDs shaking to certain destination rather than bendy slow.

Waiting time for 903 (5.27pm (Tine I reached bus-stop to 5.37pm, 10 mins) TIB816X was fully-packed, so the BC decided to skip the Riverside bus-stop.

13mins later TIB1140E and TIB1056R came. Most of RP people had to take TIB1056R (inculde myself) as it was almost empty whereas 1140 was around 85% packed.

To conclude, 903 desperately needs a shortworking trip from Riverside Rd to WDL to supplement the crowds from RP after school day ends. Their 'peak' time is around 4pm to 6pm (for UT time only) whereas 4pm to 5pm (when there is no UT) Furthermore, rigid should not cameo (to replace bendy perm) on this service during that timeso that commuters won't wait longer for the next bus to come.

I full agree on this point, but however, what if the local bus body makers who designed an ''imaginary DD'' which had 3 doors (2 rear doors and 1 entrance) and 2 stairways leading to the upper deck? Would it make the rate of unloading a DD to be twice as faster?

Germans are doing it, the MAN Lion City DD have 3 doors.

Also note the increasing trend and popularity of DDs, many cities in the world can't live with bendies simply because they have been causing congestion.

I think there's no longer a need to post abt the blue cctv sticker pasted near the interior rego plate.Sooner or later all buses with cctvs will have the sticker.Almost all the B9s and kubs i have took recently have that sticker.

Today Orchard Road bus services very powerful. Buses which passes through that area at 6-7pm plus are severely behind schedule due to massive traffic jam & raining non-stop there. One bus which is SBS8999S on Express 502A is severely late by 47 mins.

Marina Centre area not that bad. It's the Orchard area jam that really stinks.

Scared to take trunk services out of interchanges after 7pm... esp those with >1h15min trip time. The frequency can be very cranky... its like from 6-10min then suddenly drop to 16-18min -_-

65 143 are some services excluded due to full day buses outnumbering the split shifts by.... 85%?

I am getting reports of prevalent flooding over at the Western area of Singapore.

My friend just said Bukit Timah Road just flooded up. Expect large delays for the next 2 hours.

65 143 are some services excluded due to full day buses outnumbering the split shifts by.... 85%?

sv62 is another culprit 20/22mins from 1900hrs till 2100 hrs then switch to 15mins interval

Even Ngee Ann Poly also tio lor. Just below library, the Blk 1 Admin Office lifts were stalled. Even Fourleave & Student Office also kenna. The underground passage was seriously flooded, till now its still flooded.

There is a traffic junction near Woodlands Primary School, the one where 912 turns right to the next busstop. A alot of soil from the grasses came out, causing alot to went on to the road.

Cars at Blk 50 Carpark, 40cm water, cars partially submerged liao. Blk 50 classrooms on the first floor all under water. You should have seen "Mount Ngee Ann" when it was pouring... It was like a waterfall...

Ngee Ann Poly bus stop was chaos from 3p.m to 5p.m, prolly becoz some classrooms were flooded and classes were cancelled. Then somemore more and more people want to take the quick way back to the North(Bishan, AMK), then they go take 74... I was like super facepalm by then. I took the long way back to the East, going North first instead( -> WDL -> TAM ) of taking 74/151/154 which I expected it to be jammed up.
