Look at the Tridents' conditions.
Let's not talk about the Dennis made stuff.
I just took 9689E, and the Voith cannot engage 3rd gear and the
trident was basically languishing on TPE at 40-50km/h at high rpms.
Considering that Voith is considered to be rather reliable, and
that the only other time I've seen a spoilt Voith was years ago,
compared to other types where malfunctions are more common, how is
it possible to constantly draw the same blinkered conclusion from
just about anything?
I'm not saying HGDEP is terrible at maintenance. But what makes
you think SLBP is doing a terrible job with 8030L?
Nobody is going to say anything about the general state of the
tridents? The aircon? The EDS? Even "simple stuff" like the
tail-lights? Are such stuff that hard to maintain without the
excuse of them being "uniquely Dennis-made"?
The Tridents need a overhaul. Even the exit doors are kinda 'loose'
these days
