Haha, you sure that Japan cannot beat the Germans? I dare say
last time when the only Japanese buses I know are the U31 and HS3K,
but when I see their hybrid and IPT buses, the Germans have truely
lost out.
Of course, when you pit a Citaro against the low entry Japanese
buses then its a different story. But for a Japanese bus to be 4
times more fuel efficient in the same class, is it still a German
winning match?
What I am talking are the domestic models in Japan.
The Indonesian and Malaysian chassis produced under brands from
Japan are not counted as Japanese produced buses.
What i'm talking is not just about buses but the whole
automotive makes,German and European bulit are much more
refined.Jap is good as they're more into mass production.I didnt
say Jap are bad either,Cause the engine can endure asian wheather
but European are starting to built more reliable all wheather
engines now.Just look at Volkswagen,Audi,Merc,BMW,MAN all are super
reliable right?China coaches seems to be fav among asian countries
as maost of it using european engine like cummins etc.Hence
operator doesn't heck care much about body quality.The cost saving
are more important to them.I rest my say here,Didn't want to debate
more.
