Becoz the way Tampines Int is laid out, the queue only allows for one person to pass. Then there are those idiots who simply refuse to take a 969 that has no more available seats. People behind "idiot no.1" would not be able to go on the bus due to the nature of the queue. This leads to a chain reaction...

most pple don't wish to stand throughout their journey so they wait for the next bus..
this contributes to the long queues..
