TIB541M TIB805C TIB806A (WLDEP 920 WLDEP 920/922) TIB737R(WLDEP 922 WLDEP 920/922) Buses are now interchangeable. TIB737R has been on 920 for 2nd consecut...

One Harmonius Blend SG

Its perm of 911 only on weekends. Weekdays still 177/925 (and is doing 177/925 today)

WRI is still unaccessible from outside. If PIWs are making x-fer by buses its now more accessible but if they are making transfer from MRT to Bus or vice versa they have problems gettng up/down to MRT Staton/WRI. Not to mention if PIWs decide to enter the Int from Causeway Point as well

As to 178 there may be chances to get Merc but either it won't happen or that the Merc will get x-fer to do some other WLDEP svcs. Ex merc perms such as TIB759C (moved on to KJ, and then returned to WL), TIB772M, TIB773K (later moved on to WL 960), TIB791H (moved on to KJ) has already shown the trend. And what did 178 take in? Scania Striders like TIB673R TIB666L (both in exchange for 772M and 773K), TIB637X TIB639R (both ex WL 962, 959S & 960L doing their old 962 slots) and a couple from 961 (e.g. TIB640K). Though I have to say cameos may become more frequent ... ...

but then if they take in more striders wouldnt it be more like un-balanced?

It's like dont hv a balancing, 961 i believe dont hv many to x-over, and 167 hv loads of Scanias.

anyway regards to this i had a small question:why can't they rebfurnish the mb0405?they had rebfurnished some.and i think it is abit unfair.

It's not about the problem of fairness, look at the speed of new K230s entering SBST fleet. If SBST continues to retain their merz, there will be overcrowding of buses in depot.

SMB32T SG

The last batch of Mercs SBS565M to SBS581R is not going to be extended for another 2 years rite?

And it looks like services 54, 56, 60, 63, 90, 131, 142 are the ones that benefit new K230UBs. Services like 58, 139, 145 keeps getting back the old buses.

but i also don't understand why some of the mercs can be rubfurnished. even if is a need to buy new buses.

Its refurbished not rubfurnished.I was like wth when i saw this word be4 i realised that u were actually saying 'refurbished'.

As ppl said above, overcrowding in depots maybe one reason. And since it's SBST and LTA what. They buy so many of this new kubs to mainly replace the Mercs cuz they are getting nearer to their lifespan expiry dates. So they might as well replace some of them nw with the kubs.
