That's nothing.At least a few KUBs have their handrails almost ripped off......KUB's will be looking older then CRB's if this goes on.

It does not explain HG and the tridents.

Manteinance on the tridents are not much better (ignore the spare parts issue here).

Edit: I mean....it takes donkey years to replace things like EDS backlights, rearlights. And I'm not exaggerating....its really YEARS. And tridents being laid-up is not something uncommon.

okay then, let SLBP handle the tridents.

its basically cos SBST doesnt know how to maintain their tridents. in fact i think they dun even know how to rectify the problems by the tridents.

besides sv 30, 154, 157, 174, 185, 193, 194, 198, 502. because
1. goes out of Boon Lay
2. has other depot controls
3. plies to various tourist attractions
sv 30 and 154 covers all 3.

other than those, the rest should be dumped crappy buses according to its demand.

K230UB batch 1 transfer from HGDEP is ok. SLBP got the least intake of batch 1 compared to HGDEP & AMDEP who took alot. SLBP had done serious cleaning on these buses by using cleaning formula for the interior.

source? did u see them cleaning the interior? when i took 8065 first day in SLBP on 174, it was spick and span, now on 52, completely contrary.

Nv see but obvious smell. Intially, it was transfer over, SBS 8130G was very dirty. juz 2 weeks ago SBS 8130G on svc 185 it is clean.. At least for most of the KBU under SLBP, they care to clean the dirty dust at the A/C vents.

I have no idea.....don't tell me they dont know how to mantain the PSV MKIVs as well.

As far as I know, the tridents are mantained worse than the PSVs if possible.

the HG TRG SC MKIVs are much better than the SLBP SC MKIVs. the engine sound heard by both of them passing is different.

That's may also be bcos the ones at HG don't get stressed as much as the SL ones....that much you have to recognise.

okay look at 2598E and some of the SLBP MKIV DM3500s. i have to say some like 2749L and 2770Z are fine. but some have really funny noises. and some of those ex-SLBP ones. even weirder. give 2689B and 2699Y a shot, and you'll know what i mean. the 2689b and 2699y problem dates back to slbp days.

i think i've received much news of 2598E breaking down more often than ever, ever since its transfer to SLBP.

Seriously I don't see the point of discussing such an issue.

It's beyond our control and it has also mostly been points of contention.......

dunno leh.. I took so many I had nv experience. Took SBS 2704R today, the sound is solid. SBS 2788Z, SBS 2784J is marvellous. SBS 2598E had been such a loud radiator when it was in BBDEP. The A/C.. haiz..

i can't see any reason why this topic is discussing towards MKIV PSV SCs when its supposed to discuss about the k230s. i won't even be surprised if this leads to flaming. there's no need to criticise or praise about the depots currently. SLBP, HGDEP, both depots are good and bad in their own ways.

drive train and bodywork not common = more time spent waiting for spares
