I dun understand why only selected bus stop had the new poles... Why not standardise all bus stop poles cause some bus stop for example in yishun seems to be the pole tt is made in 1970s - 1980s. Very old le

Do you noticed that they actually standardized the colour? What we are having now is, SBST on purple, and SMRT on white. I guess that's the reason for the change.

But then again, I rather they focus on getting the digital annoucements up and running on every bus stop...

Seems like the new LTA design isn’t that practical as the current one.

- For some bus-stops with many route no. from various operators, SWT etc – how?
- I think if the bus-stop is WAB friendly, it should display the logo on top of the bus-stop pole. Currently there isnt any!
- I hope all bus operators indicate the final destination below each route no. on the bus-stop plate; just like what SMRT is doing now. I think this is much more practicable as some bus captains display the wrong desto or EDS info.

I think it will be good if most bus-stops adopt the same design... at least it doesn't look too messy and disoriented. I think there should also be a noticeboard or stg in those bus-stops catered for notices like road divertions, new bus services etc...Those temporary wooden boards bound on the poles look rather unsightly.

dun think ppl really bother about farestages nowadays. btw the locations of all the new different bus stops poles are up already.
