Well... I guess having such new buses may not be that good
afterall... It seems that new products happen to come with more
flaws nowadays. Not just buses; some cars and even home appliances
that are ironically new... spoil earlier.
I suppose the reason lies in poor workmanship. Nowadays, many
workers and factories want to cut production cost. Humans are
generally smarter these days, hence they would succumb to
some dirty tricks up on their sleeves to come up
with unreliable yet good-looking products to cheat
consumers. Hopefully.. such new buses breaking down will be
the first and the last....
Good point. This is what my parents try to tell me too, New
=/= good. The brand new B9TLs are already
vibrating horribly while our old VOs are still in generally
good condition. This is a problem with the whole world,
not just buses. In fact I find that things are moving too
fast, causing the above. Sorry of it goes off topic.
