Agree for service 167's case. Though service 167 is a dual depot
control but around 68% of the fleet are under WLDEP which has zero
OC500LEs.
But if is to deploy OC500LEs to service 980 it will be more
ideal instead, as AMDEP controls 84% of the service 980 fleet (11
out of 13 buses) during the weekdays. Unless SMRT do not have any
intention to introduce any OC500LEs to service 980.
Let me tell you what had happened to SMB46D and SMB47B.
AMDEP have redeployed both of them back to SP again. Their slots
are replaced with their ex-perms TIB918K (advertiser complaint) and
TIB920C. These two buses have ads but TIB918K's advertising
contract just started a few weeks before SMB47B became perm. They
redeployed the OCs out just to 'give chance' for other BCs from
other Services to try them out.
Although it had lost it's OC perms for the moment, there are OCs
cameoing on 167S154. (perm bus TIB916R). For Sv 980, it may be
possible but didn't see any OCs this past month. I was hoping it
would do the S15x slot that cross to 859 in the morning (perm bus
TIB919H).
Other OC infomation:
The next 66 buses would be out in a few months time. (Expected
Date: June)
