Take Svc 859 from Sembawang Int to Yishun Int

Take Svc 858 from Yishun Ave 2 Bus stop to CGA Terminal 2,1,3

Take Svc 36 from CGA Terminal 2,1,3 to ECP( there is a bus stop)

Would taking the train to City Hall and then 36 or train to Woodlands and then 966 be faster than actually taking 859 -> 857 -> 966?

It is the fastest excluding waiting time. The frequency for 857 and 966 is quite bad. I suggest train to TPY > 31 to Marine Parade (Opp PP bus stop) then walk through the underpass.

Another alternative is to take 962 to woodlands or train to marsling, then transfer 966 and you can rest all the way till marine parade.

That's only if BKE and PIE dont have jams.

eh. wad i suggest is take train to amk and take 76. mayb faster.
if weekend thn take to amk,transfer 25 to bdk thn change to 401. at the doorstep

Let me suggest...

Take MRT from Sembawang

Alight at Toa Payoh MRT, Take 31 from Toa Payoh Interchange.
(This should be the fastest).
For 31, alight at Opposite Parkway Parade Bus Stop and cross over the overhead bridge.

OR

Alight at Marsiling MRT, Take 966 from the opposite side of the MRT station.
For 966, alight at the OCBC Bank Marine Parade, which is the Parkway Parade side.

For both options, walk across the HDB blocks. You will see a standalone NTUC supermarket. Walk beside the HDB block and the NTUC and you will see an underpass to East Coast Park.
