Disadvantages:

May have a BIG jam during the exhibitions. (not to worry) It's like 3 in 365(+1) days.

Other than that...Nothing!

Punggol to Pasir Ris Central/Downtown East: 3 (your service 49 will take very very long to reach Pasir Ris!!)

Punggol to Changi: 3->89

Why not merge routes 69 and 37, and provide a stopover at Tampines Interchange?

In this way it saves a service number and also provides link to Tampines Ave 4. Tampines residents going to Bedok can board 18 or 38.

It's ok. Why not put bus stops outside the Int like Hougang? Then no need go inside. I suggest sth like this

Merger of 859 & 962

Woodlands Reg Int to Sembawang Int to Yishun Int

It could be quite difficult to merge these two bus routes and keep all of the areas that are currently being served by both routes in Sembawang - there's considerable overlap and oddities in their routing within Sembawang New Town...

Rather, as I mentioned a long time ago, they might want to consider extending route 962 to Senoko and withdraw route 981, though someone pointed out that that will cause crush-load conditions on such a modified route.

As for route 859, they should really consider splitting it up into two - either one for the area around Admiraly Link area and another one for Admiralty Drive/Sembawang Crescent (the latter following the old route 859 exactly), or turn it into a loop service and into something like route 243 or 410 - clockwise and anti-clockwise loops within Sembawang.

Service 85 will be amended to ply Jalan Kayu and Sengkang West Ave. To reduce duplication with service 86 which links up Sengkang to Jalan Kayu, it will be amended to ply Sengkang West Ave too. Details will be posted in next week.

Main purpose is to link up Sengkang West Ave to Yishun and Jalan Kayu to Sengkang.
