last time visit a couple of mths ago. you cannot compare to long
time ago when it is juz strictly set-lunch. Quality of ingredient
is unbeatable. The prawns are hugh, the garlic rice taste like no
other. Now the prawns are big relative to competitors and garlic
rice taste like fried rice.
Still tenpayaki wise, there is no better value for such std. It is
buffet now, is better value, & unlimited salmon sushimi. WE
have to adjust also liao.
Personally i still prefer the old times set-lunch, best value for
money.
You went for dinner .... must have cost a bomb!!!!
Another nice tenpayaki is Inagiku at Raffles City ... again, best
value is set-lunch. Ala carte is too $$$. Shima and Inagiku gave me
the best impressions so far.
Cheaper alternative, you may try tenpayaki at genki Sushi at
Parkway Parade.
