It was from Wdl Road/Bt Timah Road to Jalan Bahar/LCK Road.

67 -> 172 covers the approximate alignment of the road.

Service 172 and 175 (now 975) used to ply Choa Chu Kang Terrace. Choa Chu Kang Terrace was in the past a part of Choa Chu Kang Rd before it was re-aligned to connect with Ave 2 and re-named.

The 2 stretchs of Choa Chu Kang Rd that no longer exist are the stretch that crossed over KJE and the stretch that ran through Blocks 460, 462, 462A, 465 & 469. There is a bridge that cross over Sungei Peng Siang beside Blk 460, this is the bridge where service 172 and 175 used to ply on before the re-alignment.

Yes, the old Clementi Road was a branch off Clementi Rd that ran somewhere near the Sunset Way estate. Clementi Road was called Reformatory Rd before it was re-named. Clementi New Town was named after Sir Cecil Clementi Smith who was the Governor of the Straits Settlements from 1887 to 1893.

Jurong interchange was closed when Boon Lay interchange opened in July 1990, the interchange was then converted into a bus park before re-located to Soon Lee Rd.

So its confirmed that the old JRBP is part of the former Jurong Bus interchange.

Remember the whole JRBP was fully parked with NAC DDs aft the BCs returned the buses.

Remember JRBP had 2 bus washing bays, 2 fuel top-up point next to the washing bay, undercarriage repair bay(unconfirmed) & parking lots allocated to different services(mainly JIS) were painted with the Service No.s...

Do you know in the 1970s, that many services do ply along MacKenzie Rd? Services like 170, 171, 172 do pass through MacKenzie Rd. Those services were from UBC, pre-SBS time. By the 1970s, Service 149 (Toa Payoh - Prince Edward Rd) was the last few bus service to ply along MacKenize Rd.

If you read through the CSS Bus Guide 1975, Services 7, 7A, 7B & 7D also used to ply that stretch of road in the very beginning. (not the later version of CSS 7 from St Michael Ter to New Bridge Rd)

That's right. Jurong Int and Jurong Bus Park were seperated by the canal. Jurong Bus Park continued to operate after Jurong Int was demolished. Jurong Bus Park is not to be confused with Jurong Depot. Jurong Depot a.k.a. Teban Gardens Terminal was located at Penjuru Rd.

The site of Jurong Int was later used as a temp holding area for retired LAs and O305s before they were scrapped.

Taman Jurong 1,Taman Jurong 2 and so on until Taman Jurong 10

they had change the road name to

Yuan Ching Road,Kang Ching Road etc..

there are some road/landmark names I wanted to point out..

Gagak Selari Barat - around Lower Delta Rd
Pesiraran Keliling - now known as MacPherson Estate
Upp Changi Rd (original) - was broken down into segments. The newly aligned New Upp Changi Rd was constructed to replace the Upp Changi Rd due to HDB development.
Ayer Rajah Rd/Upp Ayer Rajah Rd - well, if you see those bus stops along the AYE and you are still wondering, Ayer Rajah Rd/Upp Ayer Rajah Rd was converted into an expressway.
Entire roads in undeveloped areas in the North East (Cheng Lim farwmay 1, Buangkok South Farmway 1, Lor Sengkang were demolished) - Sengkang New Town Was name after Lor Sengkang
Joo Koon Rd - was name after a kampong primary school, Joo Koon Public Sch.
Kg Sungei Tengah - not only the LCK area, but as seen on the map of an undeveloped area in Punggol, Kg Sungei Tengah was just off Punggol Rd and along Jln Kampong Tengah (now demolished)
