Restricted Acess into Woodlands CIQ via Woodlands Centre Road
(Slip road).
Note that cars could still acess the slip road if they are
travelling to Woodlands Road.
From 15th Sept, no acess is granted into the checkpoint from the
sliproad at Woodlands Centre Road which connects with the
junction at Woodlands Checkpoint Viaduct. Only Sv 160, 170 and 950
are allowed to acess via it.
Cars and bikes could only acess via BKE. Lorries would
access from old Woodlands Road.
This rule is created due to many complaints by passengers,
buisnesses and institutions in the affected CIQ area of noise,
inconvinience, etc. SMRT recieved complaints by passengers of long
waiting time and inconviniencee caused by the diversions.
Buisnesses like Sheng Siong, Andalus, Elias Kindergarten and a
few others complained due to drop of customers and inconvinience
for customers.
Rule operating hours:
Mon - Fri: 4 - 10 pm
Sat and Sun: 10 am - 10 pm
