Having 75% (of whatever proportion) WAB bus fleet does not mean it is a WAB service. The only official list of WAB bus services is available at http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/doyouknow/facts_wab.aspx.

Service 14 is already having WAB Volvo B9TL buses now.

Sv 88 is also have WAB bus since Jun 2007 but it is not a WAB service. Suggest u go read up more first. And Sv 14 was the one who get complain in the newspaper, when 2 B9 refuse to pick up one PIW.

The two Sv 14 B9TL BC does not allow the PIW to board, cos they say that Sv 14 is not a WAB service yet..

Channel NewsAsia - 2 hours 20 minutes ago

SINGAPORE: 17 SBS Transit bus services will be temporarily diverted due to road closure for the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge Singapore 2008 on 23 April from 2.30pm to 8.00pm.

The affected bus services are 10, 36, 56, 57, 70, 97, 100, 107, 111, 130, 131, 133, 162, 195, 196, 502 and 518.

The diversion of these services will be activated in tandem with the different phases of roads closure for Connaught Drive, Raffles Avenue (from Temasek Avenue to Nicoll Highway), Esplanade Drive (towards Shenton Way) and Republic Boulevard.

With the closure of roads to vehicular traffic, the said services will not call at the bus stops along the affected route.

But commuters travelling to and from the area can board and alight at the bus stops along the diverted routes.

Traffic inspectors will be at the diversion points to assist bus captains and passengers.

dunno how many times liao

It's very common on Service 3.. 'cause a lot of students take it. Take Svc 3 on a normal weekday afternoon and you'll see what I mean; students eating in the bus, leaving the cups, plastic bags etc. behind:[

I thought 196 also has lots of students on it. It passes by NUS High, all those Dover Rd schools, etc. So why is the problem so rampant on 3?

I have no idea as to why the problem is so rampant on 3 either, since I only take it for short distances (From Tampines Int/Tampines Ave 2 to my house, or from Pasir Ris Int to my house.)

I see. Is the CCTV based on service or by bus model??

SBS n SMRT SG

Some Mk IV had CCTV installed after 911 attack while all BT10L and BT9L and K230 had CCTV only that the VSO CCTV is black and white, look like a camera photo, while the others are coloured. only one bad thing is that BT9L CCTV cannot see first row, therefore, you could still eat there or (an evil plan saw in old threads) change front desto and make the driver thing why he could choing so fast...69,11,8,88 would not work...still prefer eds, cannot be sabo and easy to change route

bus74 SG

lolz. but how could you change the front desto without the passengers looking at you and shouting at you..asking you wat are you doing.. lolz

On DDs the front desto's opening is on the upper deck so that's possible if there are no passengers on the upper deck.

Not all K230 have CCTV and some VSO have new installed CCTV apart from the black and white one.

Volvo Olympian SG

The VSO use to have smaller type of CCTV , the circular thingy near the bus stopping sign , same for Dennis Trident i guess , as for B9TL it was already there since introduction.
