Why SBS New Scania Bus very jerk one ?

I haven't take one is without jerky one !!!

I call this new series bus as Jerky bus !

what cause it jerk acctually ? Is it bus setting wrongly or BC dunt have the skill to control the bus ?

the jerk is mainly from increase speed when change gear from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 leh !

I think the suspension is too soft, very uncomfortable and being torture by SBS and still have to paid for it !!!OMG !!

I almost Vomit this morning leh !!

i love it. thats what makes it distinct.

at last, driver can pay revenge to natughty customer but if they complain, blame it on bus.

Not sure about the OCs though but I hope it is not... Mercedes what steady bus man!

All services in Changi Airport have the new buses except 858 and not sure if 858's getting them.So if you wan wait, suit yourself. Personally to me, i don't find this bus lame at all. I take them to afternoon tution, i take them to interchange, take them to Changi Airport, i take them to all sorts of places

It's 9/10 because i thought that if there's so many storage space then the BC never use them, it's a waste mah.

The Scania's jerks are because of the ZF 6 speed gearbox.

Apart from that i give it a 2.5 out of 5. Bland looks and interior, uncomfortable Vogelsitze and quite alot of vibrations for some scanias.

i find the Habit seats from Vogel is 10 times better that the KUbs one follow by the b9tl :)

Hi all,

bus jerky is due to it's Bus Stop Brake, aka Halt Brake for SMRT MBG. It's a kind of brake that activate when any door opens. In order to prevent the bus jerky, the BC has to gently pedal down the accl to release the Bus Stop Brake.
